Hello All,
I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day! My hubby is so sweet. He endured "fine dining" for me. This is really out of his comfort zone, since he's a meat and potatoes man. We had dinner Saturday night at Trali, which is an irish pub in the area. Here was our menu...
1st course: we both had the tomato and mozzarella salad with balsamic dressing. Fresh mozzarella, yum, and the balsamic dressing was probably the best I've ever had.
2nd course: I had salmon wrapped in puff pastry with spinach and cream cheese, rice pilaf on the side. DH had chicken cordon bleu with scalloped potatoes.
DESSERT: DH had apple pie ala mode, I had cheesecake!
Very nice dinner and time with DH priceless. (Sorry I didn't take pics)
A loss of 1.1 lbs this week, yay!!
Eats for Sunday:
Started off with Starbucks light caramel frapp, and spinach feta wrap. I also picked up a cranberry orange scone for a snack later.
Lunch: leftover Starkist tuna "burger" with Green Giant just for one broccoli and cheese.
Workout: 30 mins on treadmill (still ticking away at the 5k challenge) followed by some Tae Bo!
Today, I have to admit, I am VERY lazy. I am not sure if it's the weather or what, but I just can't seem to shake the cobwebs away! No workout tonight...my heel is not feeling quite right, so I'm gonna take it easy. I don't want another flare up of achiles tendonitis!!
