OK, today was weigh in day. Down another .7 lbs. Another week of being below my average, and this week, way below. Hopefully next week will be a lot better. I just completed day 4 of the 8 wk 5K challenge. I can't tell a lie, it's kicking my butt right now. I'm supposed to be running 7 mins out of 21, and I'm averaging 4-5. I guess I shouldn't be so hard on myself, b/c I've actually never run before...well, not for health, only when I HAD to while in school. I'm going to keep ticking away at it, and I WILL complete this challenge. I'm in NC and we got several inches of snow, so I didn't go anywhere today, BUT I have been very productive today. Defrosted a freezer, cleaned 1 of my refrigerators, several loads of laundry, and a great workout.
Today's eats;
Breakfast: Special K blueberry with skim milk
Snacks: two cranberry orange muffins (fat free), 1 piece of WW string cheese, jalapeno cheetos (DH came home with these, YUM)
Lunch: (ate lunch really late) turkey burger, pretzel thins
No dinner really, b/c I didn't eat lunch until about 3pm.
After workout smoothie: fresh berries, strawberries and blueberries, unsweetened almond milk, flaxseed meal, WW yogurt, spinach, and a handful of ice. Very yummy!

hey .7 rounds up to 1lb!! ;) & a loss is ALWAYS better than no loss or a gain!! stick with it and you will get strong w/the running!
PS the smoothie sounds SUPER delish!!
Way to go on the weight loss...it all adds up. It's better than a weight gain. You're headed in the right direction.
As far as the running, it will come. I did the couch to 5K program. I couldn't run at all without getting out of breath. I can now run 2 miles without stopping and without an oxygen tank (LOL).
Yeah down is always good!
I also did the couch to 5K at coolrunnings.com (something like that) It was a longer program, I think 12 weeks and some weeks I repeated. It was hard in the beginning but I got it and can now run forever! Also I found what helped me when it was really hard was slowing my tempo down, it helped with injuries as well.
Thanks for the support! I have another walk/run scheduled for tonight's workout.
Well done on your loss this week. No loss is too small: they all add up.
